Today I Feel Like A Review.

My eyelashes are naturally long so when choosing a mascara I don't really need to stress over something that's going to give me the length I don't have. I bought Bourjois Volume Fast & Protect Mascara because I just thought it was the coolest thing ever to have a mascara that rotates, sucker for gimmicks, I know. But to my surprise, it's a pretty awesome mascara. You can go from 'natural' looking lashes to really full-on impact- I've had people ask me if I'm wearing false eyelashes more than once! The only drawbacks for me is that sometimes if you rub your eye, even the slightest pressure causes it to leave those black fallout things scattered across my cheeks. Also, taking it off is a murder, I've never had a time when there's not been some left over the next morning.
Just my thoughts on the matter. :) What do you think?

Today I Feel Like A Review.

I'd heard so many things about Maybelline Dream Matte Powder over YouTube and on various blogs that I thought that it would be worth it to just take the plunge and see what the fuss was all about. So went to Superdrug and the first thing that struck me about this powder was that the colours are really weird. Like the first five shades were white. I did a swatch on the back of my hand and they were still white. No improvement. I ended up going for the second to darkest shade just because it was the first shade that had colour. I've had this for a good couple of months now and I have to say that I don't like it that much. I don't like talking bad of products but this really isn't up to par. I can honestly say, after many weeks of testing it out, my face looks shinier at the end of the day with this on than when I go without. It makes where I've powdered look cakey and it's very difficult to correct it. I can feel myself getting oily maybe and hour or so after I've used this and I do not think it 'sets' my foundation. I find this sad as Maybelline are such a giant brand and are usually very good at what they do.
Just my thoughts on the matter. :)

Today I Feel Like Eyes.

Hey Everyone,
This is something a bit more dramatic than I would probably wear out of the house just because I am so pale- I think black on the waterline makes me look a bit 'troubled'.
Having said that, I really enjoyed doing it and maybe one day I'll be brave enough to step outside with racoon eyes and astound the world.

I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in 'Sin' as my base then I pressed 'Suspect' all over the lid and 'Smog' in the outer corner, both by UD. I then used a very small brush to add Bourjois eyeshadow in '08' into the inner corner and under the brow bone.

I added the smallest amount of the matte black from the Sleek 'Au Naturel' pallet (dusking most of it onto the back of my hand prior to application) and blended into the socket to really deepen the look. I finished it off using Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner to do a medium line around the entire eye and a thick coat of Collection 2000 Super Size Mascara. As a concealer I used Touche Éclat by YSL
